Sarada Natarajan completed her Master's and PhD in art history from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She taught art history at the Fine Arts Department of SN School between 2014 and 2015. She also taught visual art and voice courses in the Theatre department of the SN School from 2009-2015. She is Visiting Professor at Shiv Nadar University, Noida. Her academic interests include art historiography, the materiality of sculpture and embodied viewing, mediaeval iconography, art history pedagogy and theorizing popular visual culture. She is a trained vocalist and writes and illustrates for children.
