Hello fellow Research Scholars,

I am Kavita, a research student at the Dept. of Management Studies, IISc, Bengaluru. I was associated with the Student Support Network, a group of volunteers from IISc, that helps students cope up with adjustment issues. 

My work at SSN exposed me to a wide range of issues faced by students in general and research students in particular. Much of these issues could be attributed to the quality of interaction (or lack of it) between research students and their supervisors. This prompted me to study and understand the interaction between a research student and a supervisor in depth. The results of this study can potentially be used to address some issues causing delays in submission of thesis. 

As part of this study, I am conducting a survey among research scholars across India. The survey questionnaire consists of 34 items and takes about 10 mins to complete. The survey is anonymous and your responses will remain confidential.
