Re: [WhatsUpUoH] Accident prone unfinished road in the UoH Campus

Dear Mr. Vice Chancellor,

Sir, I would like to add to the mail that in addition to this unfinished road, the road parallel to it ( https://goo.gl/maps/tygUbhffwG22. ), which has a sharp turn,  is seldom, if not ever,  cleaned of the sand all over it, it is slippery for cycles and vehicles passing on it. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

I have already had an accident which o did not report, which happened because of the withering roads not being cleaned of the loose gravel dislodged from the bitumen.

Because of this accident, with a luckily minor injury, I had to suffer for more than three weeks with restricted movement in the ankle, pain and lifetime skin scarring.

Please see that basic maintenance is carried out on the roads.

Regards,
Raju Bh.

Subject: Accident prone unfinished road in the UoH Campus

Respected Sir,

I, Ajay Kumar (10MBPH04), would like to bring in your notice a unfinished road toward the South Campus. Please see the attached pictures.

Almost a year ago, university had laid a base of sand and stone for the construction this road. But a part of this road is not completed. As a result the commuters and vehicles have to travel on the loose stones and sand which may lead to an accident.

I request you to take immediate action to complete this unfinished road. It'll avoid any unfortunate incident on this accident prone road.

Thank you
Ajay Kumar
