Essential tips to protect from installation of Adware (or) spamware in your systems:-
1. Install Adblock plus, Adblock Pro & AdBlock apps/add-ons for your browsers like Chrome, Firefox, etc....
-For Chrome browser these apps can be installed from :- https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/adblock
-For Firefox browser these addons can be installed from:- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
2. Always download a program/software from the official link, or a trusted site.
For ex. if you have to download Firefox, download it from www.mozilla.org ONLY.
3. When installing a program, do not click too fast [Next] without paying attention to
Terms of Use and third-party programs installed along with it.
- If third-party programs are available(tool bars, etc, ..), UNCHECK all check boxes.
- Enable detection of potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) in your antivirus.
