The NSS cell, in collaboration with the Lions Club, Saberi Unit, is organising the Blood Donation Camp on 14/08/2013(Wednesday) in Health Centre, University of Hyderabad, in view of the 66th India's Independent day celebrations. The camp will start at 08.00 am and be continued till 02.00 pm on the day. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor has kindly agreed to share a few words with the blood donors in the camp on the day at 10.00 am.
In this regard, the NSS cell in the campus would like to inform to all the campus community including students, teaching, non-teaching staff and other like-minded community to participate in the camp to donate your contribution. Your blood contribution will definitely save many lives in emergency. This is a call to all the members in the campus to sensitise and mobilise them to donate their blood units voluntarily.
The volunteers who would like to donate their blood units are requested to register their names on or before 12/08/2013(Monday). To register, you may be requested to SMS your details (name, course, department, mobile number and e-mail) to 94922-93299, OR send an e-mail to uohnsscell@gmail.com
The Lions Club, Saberi Unit, has agreed to give blood donation cards and the donor certificates to the donor volunteers to use the card for accessing blood in any emergency. Therefore, I request the University community to use the opportunity and step in to save the lives.
