Reg: NAAC Peer Team Visit :8-11 January 2014
Dear Colleagues:
We are happy to inform you that an eight member NAAC Peer Team, from a distinguished background, is scheduled to visit our campus during 8-11 January 2014. This follows the successful submission of the two volume NAAC Re accreditation Report (RAR) to NAAC Bangalore. The report is displayed on our website.
On behalf of the NAAC Steering Committee of our university, I have written to all stakeholders of our university regarding the visit of the Peer Team in detail.
I have suggested an action plan to the Deans, Heads, Directors and Coordinators of academic units as well as the Heads of all support services.
May I request all to kindly take immediate steps to see that we are in a state of preparedness by early December? Thank you!
Given the fact that we will have our End Sem Exams in the Second Half of November ( i.e. quite soon), followed by the Semester-break, it's all the more necessary that we begin early in right earnest,and leave nothing to chance. I am alerting the Administration regarding engineering, horticulture, roads and buildings etc.on campus.The Vice Chancellor's letter will reach you soon.
The NAAC accreditation has been an occasion for introspection of our strengths, and more importantly, our limitations so that we can learn and improve ourselves.
I request you to kindly get in touch with your respective Heads/Deans/ Directors/ Coordinators at the earliest.
