Please book the 25th of this month for the second Bimal Roy memorial lecture to take place at University of Hyderabad, at 3 pm in the Humanities auditorium. An invitation with a map attached follows.
This year's speaker is film maker Vikramaditya Motwane. Some of you will remember that last year's speaker was Dr Binayak Sen, who delivered a stirring address to a packed hall of students and special invitees. I have no doubt that the young director of the critically acclaimed Udaan and the very interesting new film Lootera will give us an address worthy of the principles and ideals embodied in my father's kind of cinema.
My brother Joy and I look forward to your presence on 25th.
