Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings for day! I am a PhD student at the Centre for ALTS, University of Hyderabad. I am conducting a study on 'Personality Traits and Humour Orientation. With this mail, I request you to find some time and participate in my study. To participate in the study please click HERE. Should you know more about it, please read below;
Instructions: This is a kind of survey where you will read some statements and jokes and respond to them by clicking on the choice that applies to you. The study is self-reflexive that is to say 'no response is right or wrong'. Please be honest when you click on any number. Participate now
Eligibility: Anyone can participate. You should be able to understand simple English sentences for instance: I like to be with people. And, they should be able to understand words like Usually, Often, Sometimes, Occasionally, Rarely, Never.
Task: It requires you to read about 36 single sentence statements and 20 very short jokes. After every statement you need to click on the number that applies to you. After each joke also please click on the relevant number.
Repetition: Some of the statements may seem to be repeating. Please respond to them normally as part of the task.
Time: On an average participants take about 15-16 minutes to complete the entire task.
Page break: When a page break comes please click on the continue button.

Safety: This study saves only your response. Nothing except your response to statements and jokes, not even your name and email ids is saved.
