[WhatsUpUoH] Rohit Vemula Memorial UoH Bird Count (13&14 feb)

Dear all,

As a part of the global Great Backyard Bird Count, we are organising our annual Campus Bird Count on 13th and 14th February this year. During the count last year, we counted 109 species of birds on our campus, and our current total tally is 167 bird species.

Join us this year! It doesn't matter if you've never went birdwatching before. If you are interested and curious, do join. This year, we dedicate the effort to the memory of Rohit Vemula, whose tragic demise cut short his yearning to bring science and rationality to the masses.

We start at 6am on Saturday, 13th February, in front of Science Complex. We'll probably have 4 sessions - Saturday morning, Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening. You can join us through the sessions, or anytime in between. Just give us a ring to find out where we are at that time. Venues and schedules will be announced later on our facebook page, and by mail to those who contact us
