[WhatsUpUoH] Re: LAN Connectivity @ MH-J

Attention residents of MH-J hostel

It is for information that the OFC connectivity between MH-K and MH-J was damaged while the playground (with cement base) was being done. CNF came to know about the damage on 02-05-15 and the connectivity was continuing on 2 core only rest of the 4 out of 6 core were damaged. In fact the OFC had multiple fractures. On 04-08-15 evening around 4pm. CNF learnt that there was no connectivity to MH-J. On inspection, it was found that the OFC is completely damaged. The OFC is to be relaid in an alternate route. To reconnect the MH-J again it will take minimum weeks-time after the official approvals and procurement of required material.

Inconvenience regretted.
