[WhatsUpUoH] Invitation to Lecture and Book Discussion, Friday, 2:30 p.m.-5 p.m. @ C.V.Raman Auditorium

Dear All,

On behalf of CRS I invite you to a lecture and book discussion on the theme of Seva (Service). 

The event will be held in C. V. Raman Auditorium from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Details of the afternoon program are in the attached flyer.

There are two parts to this afternoon program. First, Daya Bai, a social activist of long standing, and now living with Gonds in the Chindawara district of Madhya Pradesh will share her experiences on Service.

This will be followed by a discussion on book titled "Seva, Saviour and State: Caste Politics, Tribal Welfare and Capitalist Development," which is the second part of the program. Kalpana Kannabiran from CSD, and Prof. Raghurama Raju from department of Philosophy, HCU have kindly agreed to comment on the book, which will be followed by a response from the author, R. Srivatsan. We look forward to your participation.
