Sonia Sikka is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Ottawa.  Her publications over the last few years include Herder on Humanity and Cultural Difference (Cambridge University Press, 2011), Liberalism, Multiculturalism and the case for Public Religion (Politics and Religion, 2010), Memory, Power and the Construction of Dalit Selfhood (Identities, 2012), The Perils of Indian Secularism (Constellations, 2012), Moral Relativism and the Concept of Culture (Theoria, 2012), and Religion Education in a Multicultural Society (Forthcoming 2014).
